This component is produced in a simple mold (mold 1 Cavity) with two slides for formation of complex features. Parts are then HIP'd and annealed for density and dimensional stability after molding. Drillings and countersinks can be added as required; the frame is then vacuum heat treated, quenched to 40 HRC, and passivated for corrosion resistance.

Previously produced by casting with multiple secondary operations, this part now uses MIM for high-volume, precise production. Annual output reaches 70,000 pieces with excellent batch consistency. Compared to casting and machining, MIM minimizes waste and offers better cost efficiency.

Such an oil spray piston cooler has a highly complex geometry in which holes intersect, and where unblocked channels are needed for the oil.

A customer contacted BestPro, seeking a titanium part with a high tolerance requirement: batch tolerance must keep to 0.01mm and have a perfect surface finish. Following the completion of the first 500, the client came back for another component.

For this golf sand wedge, we had close communications with the client for custom head design in terms of performance specifications and material density. The steel material was carefully chosen and tested out of numerous candidates, but 35CrMo had just the right balance between strength, machinability, and consistent weight without compromise to deliver both an authentic feel and durability.
