Carbon steel and 304 series stainless steel were joined by pressure friction welding to form a smooth bond with no loss of strength or performance.

For this golf sand wedge, we had close communications with the client for custom head design in terms of performance specifications and material density. The steel material was carefully chosen and tested out of numerous candidates, but 35CrMo had just the right balance between strength, machinability, and consistent weight without compromise to deliver both an authentic feel and durability.

This project required development of a full set of gear and shaft transmission system for agricultural machinery, comprising various precision gears, splined shafts, and matched rotating members. The key challenge was not individual parts, but system-level accuracy, in which every tolerance, interface, and combination would have a direct effect on performance and life.
