A UAV engine vendor needed a 120 mm diameter, thin-wall blades, turbine wheel with an eccentric bore accuracy of ±0.008
mm. The part was machined on a 5 axis configuration, polished and inspected by CMM and 3D scanner. Each unit passed
vibration and airflow testing prior to installation inside the propulsion module, and the customer ordered an additional
batch of units for production.
