EV Battery Housing Castings

BestPro supplies custom aluminum battery housing castings for electric vehicles, including covers, end plates and housing sections. Available as castings or machined parts, with sealing grooves, mounting holes and surface finishes to your drawings.

Battery housings bring several requirements into one part: space for the battery assembly, secure mounting points and a cover joint that fits correctly.

Material and Surface Finish Options

BestPro handles the complete supply of your battery housing, from casting and CNC machining to surface treatment, inspection and packing.

We work with the cast aluminum grade specified for your project. If the alloy has not yet been selected, we can discuss suitable options based on strength, corrosion resistance and service conditions.

Available finishing options include:

● Deburring and vibratory finishing

● Blasting

● Powder coating

● E-coating

The finish is selected to suit the alloy and part requirements. Sealing faces, threads and electrical contact areas can be masked where needed.

You receive the finished components through one point of contact, with material certificates and dimensional reports included as agreed.

Close Attention to the Cover Joint

The joint between a battery housing and its cover deserves particular attention. Flatness, groove depth and mating-face finish all need to match the drawing.

We identify these features when reviewing the part and include the necessary machining and dimensional checks in the supply scope. Coating and masking requirements are considered alongside these dimensions.

Leak testing can be discussed where required. Please provide the test method and acceptance limits so it can be included in the quotation.

Samples and Production Orders

Initial samples give your team parts to measure and trial-fit before batch production. Packaging is arranged to protect machined faces and prevent parts from rubbing against each other in transit.
