BestPro supplies custom pump casing castings based on customer drawings for pump manufacturers and industrial equipment projects.
Parts can be delivered as raw castings, pre-machined blanks or fully machined pump casings. Casting, CNC machining, heat treatment, surface finishing and inspection are coordinated according to the final delivery requirements.

Different casting methods can be considered according to the casing size, structure, material and order quantity.
A pump casing may look acceptable after casting, but some problems only become visible once the sealing faces, bores and flanges are machined.
Porosity, shrinkage or insufficient machining allowance can turn an apparently usable casting into a rejected finished part. Incorrect casting references can also make it difficult to maintain the required relationship between the internal flow path and the machined features.
Before production, we review the areas that directly affect later manufacturing and assembly:
Wall thickness and changes in section
Internal flow paths and difficult-to-fill areas
Sealing faces and flange connections
Machining allowance on critical features
Casting and machining datum positions
Areas where porosity or shrinkage would create a leakage risk
The aim is to identify these risks before tooling and casting, when changes are still easier and less costly.
Material is selected according to the customer’s drawing, operating conditions and applicable standard.

Equivalent Chinese materials can be reviewed when required, with the final grade confirmed before quotation and production.
Casting and machining are planned together rather than treated as two unrelated stages.
The machining allowance and datum system are confirmed before casting. After the castings are cleaned and inspected, the sealing faces, bores, flange surfaces, bolt holes and mounting features can be machined according to the finished drawing.
Depending on the project, supply can include:
Tooling and sample casting
Raw or pre-machined castings
Complete CNC machining
Heat treatment
Painting or other surface finishing
Dimensional and material inspection
Non-destructive or leakage testing when specified
This gives the customer one point of contact from the first casting sample to finished, repeatable parts.
Each melt is checked and supported by a material inspection report. Production batches remain traceable throughout casting, machining and delivery.
Inspection focuses on the features that affect sealing, connection and assembly. Additional NDT, pressure or leakage testing can be arranged where required by the drawing or application.
Once the samples are approved, the confirmed tooling, material, casting parameters, machining references and key inspection points are retained for future orders. This helps maintain consistent assembly conditions when the project moves into repeat production.
